KKW Dedicated Denver Fleet Named Safety Contest Winner

It was announced early Monday morning that KKW's (Simmons) Dedicated Denver Fleet was named an award winner in the Colorado Motor Carrier Association's Fleet Safety Contest. The fleet was awarded with 3rd place in the General Commodities, Truckload Division. The company will be among other award winners at the State's Annual Awards banquet in April. Regional Manager, Brad Leyhe stated "We ran nearly 1/2 million miles in 2011 without a preventable accident, work injury or DOT recordable accident. I will congratulate all of our Colorado drivers and have a driver present our company at the upcoming banquet". KKW's Chief Operating Officer, Steve Benninghoff, commented "...safety is the cornerstone to our very existence. Recognition by independent, unbiased entities is proof we are walking the walk".
